Let's Brighten 2023!

by Melody Stacy and Aubrey Patterson
It’s that time of year.
A time for deep introspection.
A time for hopeful aspiration and dreaming of all that’s possible in the new year.
Interwoven into the fabric of all great leaders is an unrelenting commitment to be even better. What naturally follows is a reflection and unwrapping of our previous year's work.
As we consider where we are in our leadership journey, it’s tempting to start setting goals for the new year since we’re conditioned to measure “all the things.”
But this year, let's focus more on setting our identity rather than setting new goals.
Consider the kind of leader you hope to be.
Of course, we encourage you to be a leader who is …
π compassionate, showing curiosity and seeking to understand;
π§ constructive, being intentional with our time;
πͺ courageous, modeling and building commitment.
There's immense power in being intentional. And that power is supercharged when we make it visible.
Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become. - James Clear
We go where our minds go.
